The Masters Education Scholarship Program towards Doctoral Degrees for Superior Graduates (PMDSU) is one of the breakthroughs for accelerating the pace of doctoral education in order to increase the number of doctoral graduates so that they meet the minimum educational qualifications of Masters. Through this program, excellent scholars are expected to be educated/cultivated to become Doctors in a healthy academic atmosphere under the guidance of a brilliant promoter based on a track record of research and education. Udayana University Postgraduate (Unud) is one of the organizers of the PMDSU Batch V . Program

On Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 14.30 WITA - the Monitoring and Evaluation of the Implementation of the PMDSU Scholarship was completed, in the Postgraduate Meeting Room of Unud to discuss the development of the continuation of the PMDSU scholarship program, and to discuss the obstacles faced by the Promoters and students receiving batch PMDSU Scholarships Batch V

This activity was attended by the Director of Postgraduate Unud Prof. Ir. Linawati, M.Eng.Sc.,Ph.D, as well as from the Kemendikbud Research and Technology Team who attended online Prof. Dr. Ir. Tumiran, M.Eng., Ph.D., and Prof. Dr. Ir. Budi Prasetio Widyobroto, DESS, DEA.

Furthermore, this activity discusses the continuation of the PMDSU scholarship program and discusses PMDSU Scholarship Recipients batch V. Postgraduate Unud has 3 PMDSU Scholarship recipients namely Tjok Istri Pramitaswari, Ni Putu Tesi Maratni, Gede Febby Pratama Kusuma.

Tjok Istri Pramitaswari Achievement Research has been completed (100% target) with 9 articles that have been published in Scopus indexed International Journals Q2 and Q1. Currently, research results are being compiled and prepared to be tested in the Dissertation Script Eligibility Seminar exam in November 2022.

1st Place in the Oral Research Presentation in the National Working Meeting of the Indonesian Association of Neurologists (MUKERNAS PERDOSSI) at the National level in Palembang in 2021 with the topic “GENETIC AND BIOINFORMATIC ANALYSIS OF SUilysin ISOLATED FROM patients with STREPTOCOCCUS SUIS meningitis IN BALI: a novel insight into the pathogenesis".

Tjok Istri Pramitaswari also has a research draft "Recombinant protein from Suilysin isolate Bali" which is being worked on in a dissertation study planned to be registered for a patent/Intellectual Property Rights.

Next, Ni Putu Tesi Maratni has finished carrying out research in the laboratory for her dissertation. His research to check the polymorphism of the apolipoprotein E gene and the study to compare the levels of potential biomarkers namely netrin-1, apolipoprotein E, miRNA146a have been carried out.

Ni Putu Tesi Maratni has 2 articles in reputable international scientific journals (Scopus Q2 and Q3) and attended an international conference for the presentation of research posters at the 2nd Asia Pacific Workshop and Conference on Molecular Medicine 22-26 August 2022 and will attend the presentation at the National Symposium on Research and Sustainable Innovative Abdimas 29 November-1 December 2022.

Gede Febby Pratama Kusuma Has completed his doctoral education and has graduated February 19, 2022 with a GPA of 3.90 with honors and has been accepted as a civil servant lecturer at Udayana University.

From the results of the Monitoring and Evaluation, the students did not experience any problems in terms of guidance to the Promoter. The Monitoring and Evaluation Team of the Kemendikbud, Research and Technology team admitted that they were very satisfied with the results achieved.

Furthermore, for the PMDSU Scholarship Recipients batch VI, Unud has 1 student in the medical science doctoral study program on behalf of Tjokorda Istri Sri Dalem Natakusuma.
