Udayana University Graduate School Signs Collaboration with Lumen Media PTE. LTD.
Denpasar, Tuesday, February 11, 2025, the Graduate School of Udayana University (Unud) entered into a strategic partnership with Lumen Media PTE. LTD. at the Graduate School Faculty Room, Unud. The signing of the agreement involved the Director and Deputy Director of the Graduate School, the CEO of Lumen Media PTE. LTD., and the Program Manager of Upskill Study, as well as key figures from both parties, including the Coordinator of the Master's Program in Environmental Science and the Coordinator of the Information and Cooperation Development Unit (UPIKS) of the Graduate School of Unud.
This collaboration aims to organize two international academic programs focused on global environmental issues. The first program is the "Tropical Coastal Ecology and Community-Based Conservation" course, which will be conducted over one semester. This program is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of tropical coastal ecology and community-based conservation. Additionally, the second program consists of a series of short courses with engaging themes, including "Sport & Environment," "Sustainable Development & Eco Tourism," and "Mangrove Ecology," each lasting between one to four weeks.
This partnership marks a significant step for both institutions in strengthening international collaboration in higher education, particularly in developing programs that address the pressing environmental challenges of our time. These programs are expected to enhance participants' skills and knowledge in ecological issues, environmental preservation, and the application of sustainability principles across various sectors.
With the signing of this agreement, the Graduate School of Udayana University further solidifies its commitment to expanding access to international education and making a meaningful contribution to the advancement of knowledge in environmental science and sustainability.
