FORPIMPAS: READY FOR POSTGRADUATE COLLABORATION IN ALL PTN

The meeting between the postgraduate leaders of State Universities in western Indonesia was held again. The meeting entitled Seminar and Annual Meeting (Semirata) Postgraduate Leadership Forum (Forpimpas) in 2022 with the theme "Innovation and Synergy in Management of Postgraduate Programs in Improving Competitiveness in the Digital Age". 13 campuses under the Western Region State University Cooperation Agency (BKS-PTN Western Region).

Udayana University Postgraduate Director, Prof. Ir. Linawati, M.Eng.Sc.,Ph.D, and Deputy Director II Prof. Dr. Ir. Dr. I Gusti Ayu Putri Kartika, SH., MH. attend the invitation directly to the opening of the seminar as well as to stay in touch.

This seminar which was opened by Plt. Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, Kemendikbudristek, Prof. Ir. Nizam, M.Sc., DIC., IPU, Asean Eng who was also the main speaker.

Director of the USK Postgraduate Program, Prof. Dr. Hizir Sofyan thanked all Forpimpas participants who attended this Forum. This activity is a medium for mutual synergy.

"This collaboration is not only for universities in the western region, but also for the central and eastern regions, including overseas." said Prof. Hizir.

"Of course it is important to collaborate with Kemendikbudristekdikti, Kemenag and BRIN for assistance in terms of research," he added.

USK Vice Chancellor I, Prof. Dr. Ir. Agussabti, M.Si said, "Our postgraduate movement cannot be separated from innovation. For that, knowledge transfer alone is not enough, it must be balanced with the transfer of creativity," said Prof Agussabti.

After the event, the Postgraduate Director of Udayana University, Prof. Ir. Linawati, M.Eng.Sc.,Ph.D thank you for being invited to this Forum. "The presence of a number of state universities at the Semirata Forum for postgraduate leadership (Forpimpas) in 2022 is a moment of friendship in coordinating and collaborating and moving forward together, realizing quality postgraduate services".

"At this event we can share innovation programs with each other, which educate the nation's young generation, excel and be reliable in the future." he said.

In this seminar also presenting speakers as speakers, namely Prof. Dr. Hammam Riza, M.Sc, from the National Research and Innovation Agency, Syiah Kuala University, Prof. Dr. Imam Suprayogo, from UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim, and Prof. Dr. Irwan Abdullah, from Gadjah Mada University.
