Jakarta, May 25, 2023 – Udayana University Graduate (Unud) performs benchmarking or comparative studies at Mercu Buana University (UMB), Jakarta in an attempt to draw up a distance learning class deliberation in the Unud postgraduate program.

UMB is among the top 10 private universities out of 337 private universities in Jakarta that have implemented distance learning in the form of e-learning, as well as blended learning using a system called POST UMB.

“I highly appreciate the implementation of distance learning here at UMB, with its well-run system, discipline, and commitment that is built and applied by teachers, students, and administration for the implementation to go smoothly,” said the acting director, Prof. Dr. Ir. UMB is currently waiting for permission to maintain the program, while Graduate Unud has been hosting the program of the profession since 2016 and has appointed more than 500 professional engineers. At the end of the warm discussion about the formation of the program of engineering professions, Coordinator of the Unud PPI Program, Dr. Ir. Ida Bagus Putu Adnyana, ST., MT., IPU. ASEAN Eng, spontaneously rallied, "While we are here visiting, and before PPI UMB starts its operation, we would like to urge UMB lecturers to take their engineer professions program with us in the postgraduate Unud, instead of anywhere else", which was welcomed with applause and laughter of the attendees.

Deputy Rector of Learning, Research and Technology UMB, Dr. Harwikarya, MT. at the end of the meeting said, “Thank you for the arrival of the group of Graduate Unud, hopefully after this visit, the exchange of information received both from UMB and Postgraduate Unud can contribute to the improvement at each institution and hope there will be a lot of future cooperation related to the implementation of the Tri Dharma for higher education.” (bmp-ind)
