Inauguration and Release of 110th Unud Postgraduate Graduate Candidates II

Monday, June 20, 2022 Unud Postgraduates held the Inauguration and Release of the 110th period II Unud Postgraduate Graduate Candidates during and offline. This event was also attended by the General Chairperson of PII, Dr. Ir. Danis Hidayat Sumadilaga, M.Eng.Sc online

At this event Deputy Director I Dr. I Wayan Budiasa, S.P., M.P gave a report that this period, In the first period of 2022, the Environmental Science Masters Study Program succeeded in graduating 1 prospective graduate and the Professional Engineer Study Program succeeded in graduating 20 prospective graduates, which will soon be officially will be inaugurated and released by the Postgraduate Director of Udayana University Prof. Ir. Linawati, M.Eng.Sc.,Ph.D.

Students who have successfully completed their studies as many as 17 (80.95%) are prospective male graduates and 4 (19.05%) are prospective female graduates with an average GPA of 3.98 for Master Program and 3.85 for Professional Engineer Program. Until now, Postgraduate at Udayana University have successfully completed 3 people from the Doctoral Program, 513 people from the master's program and 361 people from the Professional Engineer Program. This number includes prospective graduates who will be released by the Director this morning. Meanwhile, the number of students who are currently still actively studying in the Masters Study Program at the Postgraduate Program are 81 people, 20 people who are currently pursuing a Doctoral Study Program and 29 people from the Professional Engineer Program and Deputy Director I do not forget to congratulate and succeed to the candidates. graduates, hopefully the knowledge that has been gained will be useful for pursuing a career, in the future, and always guided by the principle of Life Long-Education.

Dr. Ir. Danis Hidayat Sumadilaga, M.Eng.Sc general chairman of the Indonesian Engineers Association (PII) congratulated the new engineers. He said that currently the number of professional engineers in Indonesia is still small compared to the total population of Indonesia. According to him, being a professional engineer must maintain integrity, dignity and professionalism. According to him, PII continues to support the engineering profession by increasing the number of professional engineers and improving their quality. In addition, PII encourages the issuance of more professional certifications.

The representative of one of the Yudisium participants, namely Ir. Ida Ayu Oka Suwati Sideman, S.T., M.Sc., in her speech on behalf of the other participants expressed her happiness and pride for having been able to complete her studies and obtain an Engineer degree, and promised to be able to jointly contribute abilities for the progress of the nation and become an Engineer professional one.

"Hopefully all of us who today officially bear the title of Engineer can contribute a lot to answer the needs of the nation, and make the name of the institution, nation, and the Republic of Indonesia proud," he said.

The Postgraduate Director in his remarks expressed his gratitude for being a big postgraduate family and for entrusting the field of education to the Postgraduate of Udayana University. "In order to improve the quality of education, the Professional Engineer Program will open up to 400 admissions, and it is planned that the Unud Postgraduate Program will also open 2 Multi-Discipline Masters of Science study programs, namely the Master of Health Law and the Master of Sustainable Development and Finance," he said.

Finally, the Postgraduate Director once again expressed his deepest gratitude, to all parties who have provided all forms of support for the Postgraduate Program at Udayana University.
