Postgraduate Udayana University establishes the first new study program in Indonesia

In an effort to meet the interests and expectations of the community, especially in the field of education, the Postgraduate of Udayana University is preparing to establish the first new Study Program (Prodi) in Indonesia, namely the Master of Sustainable Development and Finance (Sustainable Development and Finance).26/4/2022

In the coordination meeting to prepare for the establishment of the Sustainable Development and Finance Masters Study Program which was held in the Postgraduate Meeting Room of Udayana University, the Postgraduate Director Prof. Ir. Linawati, M.Eng.Sc.,Ph.D, Deputy Director of Academic and Student Affairs Dr. I Wayan Budiasa, S.P., M.P., and Deputy Director for General Affairs, Finance and Cooperation Dr. I Gusti Ayu Putri Kartika, SH., MH. as well as the preparation team for the establishment of the Sustainable Development and Finance Masters Study Program.

The establishment of a number of study programs cannot be separated from the support of the Chancellor of Udayana University Prof.Dr.Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng.IPU. which is mandated as a director in establishing a new study program.

At the meeting, Deputy Director of Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. I Wayan Budiasa, S.P., M.P. who is also the originator of the establishment of this study program said, "Currently universities must be able to present a variety of innovations and characteristics that can encourage increased knowledge and abilities of students, especially in terms of Sustainable Development and Finance. The benefits of Sustainable Development and Finance are identifying future business opportunities, increasing the value of company sustainability, strengthening stakeholder relations and following the direction of future policy developments at international, national and regional levels, stabilizing the community and market economy.

On the same occasion, the Postgraduate Director said, “The Master Program in Sustainable Development and Finance was established based on the MoU between OJK and Udayana. This study program is indispensable in today's era and we hope that the team can complete the form quickly.

Deputy Director of Postgraduate General Affairs, Finance and Cooperation, Dr. I Gusti Ayu Putri Kartika, SH., MH. said, “We must always be optimistic and there are many fans of this study program and hope that the team can quickly realize this study program.

Furthermore, the form presentation was carried out by the Preparation Team for the Opening of the Sustainable Development and Finance Masters Study Program
