Establishing Steps to Build an Integrity Zone, Postgraduate Unud Conducts Assistance to Equalize Vision

Udayana University (Unud) at the end of last year, precisely on December 29, 2023, has established itself in building an Integrity Zone Free from Corruption (ZI-WBK). This was marked by the signing of the Integrity Pact for ZI-WBK Development by Faculty and Postgraduate Leaders, witnessed by the Inspector General of the Ministry of Education and Culture in the 2023 reflection event. In line with the steps taken by the university, postgraduates also solidified steps in building an integrity zone, an area free from corruption.

Starting with forming the ZI-WBK Development Team commanded by the Postgraduate Director on Friday (19/1), Postgraduate Unud provided assistance regarding what must be done in building ZI-WBK. Postgraduate Unud presented the Coordinator of Law and Governance (HTL) of Unud, Dr. I Wayan Gayun Widharma, SE, M.Si, as a resource person in this activity. Also present were representatives from the Unud Internal Supervisory Unit (SPI), Deputy Directors, Study Program Coordinators, Unit Coordinators, Administrative Coordinators, and Postgraduate Education Personnel of Unud.

Prof. Wayan Budiasa, the Postgraduate Director as well as the Chair of the ZI-WBK Development Team, said in his speech that this activity aims to foster literacy and equalize the vision of what ZI-WBK is and what must be done in building the Integrity Zone. Equalizing perceptions in understanding ZI-WBK is very important to be implemented in order to have one goal in the development of the Integrity Zone.

"The development of this integrity zone is our commitment to realizing clean and accountable governance and excellent public services. It is hoped that the implementation of this joint commitment will create transparent services so as to increase the satisfaction of Udayana University postgraduate service users, "said the Director of Postgraduate Services at Udayana University.

Dr. Gayun, Coordinator of HTL Unud, said in his direction that in the development of the Integrity Zone, there is a need for synergy from the six area managers in it, namely change managers, governance arrangements, human resource management systems, strengthening accountability, strengthening supervision, and strengthening the quality of public services. However, the responsibility of this commitment does not only lie with the area manager but with all those involved in the development of this integrity zone, namely the leaders, coprodi, lecturers, and staff, in order to create excellent service at Postgraduate Unud.
