The graduation ceremony for the first batch of postgraduate students at Udayana University in 2026 took place on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, in an atmosphere filled with pride and emotion. The event, attended by lecturers, family members, and fellow students, began with a report from the Deputy Director, Prof. Ir. Ida Ayu Astarini, M.Sc., Ph.D. In her report, Prof. Astarini conveyed the proud academic achievements of the prospective graduates, who consisted of the Master of Ergonomics and Work Physiology, Master of Environmental Science, and Master of Health Law programs, with a number of awards and very satisfactory graduation grades.

As of February 2026, Udayana University Postgraduate Program has successfully graduated 674 students from the Master's Program, 18 from the Doctoral Program, and 958 from the Professional Engineer Program. Currently, there are 163 active students in the Master's Program, 25 in the Doctoral Program, and 35 in the Professional Engineer Program, who are continuing their studies towards graduation. This success reflects the commitment of the Udayana University Graduate School in providing quality higher education that produces graduates who are ready to contribute in various professional fields.

The Director of Postgraduate Studies at Udayana University, Prof. I Nyoman Suprapta Winaya, S.T., M.A.Sc., Ph.D., emphasized in his speech that the academic degrees obtained by the graduates are not only symbols of knowledge, but also “weapons” that are ready to be used to contribute to society. According to him, although the world of work does not measure how high your GPA is, real contributions and the ability to continue learning are what are most valued. He encouraged graduates not to focus solely on theory, but rather on the application of knowledge in the real world.

In line with this spirit, one of the most touching moments was the speech by the Best Student, Cokorda Istri Kirana Pramesti. In her message, Cokorda Istri expressed her gratitude to her parents, who had always supported her efforts, and emphasized the importance of maintaining integrity and courage in facing life's challenges. She also stressed that the outside world does not wait for academic degrees, but rather looks forward to what will be done with the knowledge that has been acquired. This message inspired all graduates to continue working and contributing to society.

With the spirit of “Lifelong Learning,” Udayana University continues to equip its students with knowledge and values to face an ever-evolving world. Great expectations are placed on each graduate to become agents of change who can make positive contributions in their respective fields.
