IEWF-AAC 2026
Interdisciplinary Exchange Workshop for the Future of All Asian Countries
Building the next generation of interdisciplinary researchers in Asia through scientific exchange, cross-border collaboration, plenary presentations, and small-group round-table discussions.
Japan, Korea, Thailand, China, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
Plenary presentations representing the scientific fields and participating countries.
Young academics and researchers brought together in intentionally interdisciplinary groups.
Two scientific workshop days followed by an official Ubud–Kintamani excursion.
Connecting disciplines, countries, and research ideas
IEWF-AAC 2026 aims to cultivate researchers who understand the value of interdisciplinary research and international collaboration.
Outstanding young academics from across Asia are invited to exchange their research interests, establish international collaborations, and build lasting professional connections through plenary presentations and small-group round-table discussions.
The workshop deliberately mixes disciplines at every discussion table. Researchers from different scientific backgrounds are encouraged not only to present their work, but also to discover research questions and opportunities that may not emerge within a single discipline.
Present & Discuss
Eight plenary talks and three table sessions create space for participants to present their work and receive perspectives from researchers in other disciplines.
Connect Across Borders
Researchers from six countries are placed in mixed groups, supported by facilitators who help turn discussions into potential collaborative ideas.
Experience Bali
A gala dinner at Jimbaran Bay and a full-day excursion to Ubud and Kintamani complement the scientific programme and encourage lasting professional connections.
Scientific Fields
The workshop brings together researchers across multiple scientific and engineering disciplines.
