Wednesday (18/05), Deputy Director II of Udayana University Postgraduate Dr. I Gusti Ayu Putri Kartika, SH., MH. attended the Socialization and Dissemination of State Defense Awareness Development in the Scope of Education in Bali Province organized by the Indonesian Ministry of Defense through the Directorate General of Pothan Kemhan, located at Aston Denpasar Hotel Bali which was attended by participants from Lecturers, Teachers, Students and High School students/equivalent Denpasar City, Bali Province . He was also a resource person at the event. Also present at the opening of the Socialization and Dissemination of State Defense Awareness Development were officials from the Bali Province Forkopimda, Regional Government officials, Bali Province FKPT and officials from LLDIKTI area 8 Bali.

The event was opened by the Director of State Defense of the Directorate General of Pothan Kemhan Brigadier General Dr. TNI. Jubei Levianto representing the Director General of Defense Potential of the Ministry of Defense Major General Dadang Hendrayudha, in his speech said that by holding the Socialization and Dissemination of State Defense Awareness Development, it is hoped that the nation's character will be built and able to contribute well for the progress of the nation.

This opportunity was attended by the Governor's Expert Staff for Human Development and Culture, Dr. I Wayan Serinah, S.Sos, M.Si representing the Governor of Bali Province said, "I also hope that the participants, who are the young generation of this city of Bali, can become role models and frontline guards in actualizing and disseminating State Defense Awareness viruses to the university environment. respective high schools and schools, to the community, "

In addition, Dr. I Wayan Serinah, S.Sos, M.Si also gave the highest appreciation to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia, especially the Directorate General of Defense Potential for holding the Socialization and Dissemination of State Defense Awareness Development activities within the scope of Education in Bali Province.

The PKBN Socialization and Dissemination Activities in the scope of Education in 2022 presented 4 (four) resource persons, where the first resource person from the Ministry of Defense was the Director of State Defense Brigadier General Dr. Jubei Levianto, the second resource person, namely Drs. I Wayan Suwira, M.Si, M.Pd as the Main Expert Superintendent at the Bali Provincial Office of Youth and Sports Education, the third resource person, namely Gede Pramana S.T., M.T, as Head of the Bali Province Communication, Information and Statistics Agency, and the last resource person, Dr. . I Gusti Ayu Putri Kartika, SH., MH as Head of the Women and Children Division of the Bali Province FKPT and at the same time serves as Deputy Director II of Postgraduate.

Dr. I Gusti Ayu Putri Kartika, SH., MH explained the material on Prevention of Terrorism and Radicalism as part of State Defense. In his presentation he said "This event is in order to build the mental attitude and character of every Indonesian citizen by providing knowledge and developing the attitudes and behavior of citizens who love their homeland, are aware of the nation and state, believe in Pancasila as the state ideology, are willing to sacrifice for the nation and state. and have the Initial Ability to Defend the State and always apply the nation's motto, namely "BHINNEKA TUNGGAL IKA" in life, because through this we can know and feel that we are citizens of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) consisting of many different ethnic groups but become one unit. Through defending the country, radicalism and terrorism can be prevented from occurring on campuses, schools and other places."
