Unud Postgraduate Program Warmly Welcomes Visit from Unsultra Postgraduate Program

Denpasar, January 13, 2026, Udayana University (Unud) Graduate School warmly welcomed a visit from Southeast Sulawesi University (Unsultra) Graduate School in room 3.10 of the Unud Graduate School Building, Denpasar. This visit was part of a series of benchmarking activities aimed at improving the quality of study program management at both institutions, with a primary focus on multidisciplinary study program management, particularly the Master of Health Law program. During this meeting, both parties shared their experiences and best practices in managing study programs that integrate various disciplines.

In his speech, Dr. Saprudin, S.IP., M.Tr.I.P., Director of Postgraduate Studies at Unsultra, expressed his high hopes for cooperation between the two universities. He believes that it is important for higher education institutions to share information in order to improve the quality of education. “This visit is a positive step towards enriching our perspective in managing rapidly developing multidisciplinary programs,” said Dr. Saprudin, S.IP., M.Tr.I.P.

The main session of this visit was filled with in-depth discussions on the management of multidisciplinary study programs at Unud Graduate School. The study program coordinators at Unud Graduate School shared their knowledge about the challenges and solutions they face in managing study programs that combine various disciplines. The discussion also highlighted the importance of updating the curriculum to adapt to the needs of the world of work and the increasingly complex developments in the field of health law.

In addition, both parties also discussed the potential for cooperation between the two universities. One topic that received special attention was the opportunity to open joint programs, both in terms of research, curriculum development, and student competency development. This cooperation is expected to strengthen the capacity of both institutions in producing competent graduates in various fields.

At the end of the event, Unud Postgraduate Program and Unsultra Postgraduate Program agreed to continue further communication in order to formulate concrete steps in realizing the potential for cooperation that had been discussed. It is hoped that this collaboration will bring significant benefits to the development of postgraduate education in Indonesia, which will have a direct impact on the quality of life of the community.
